At Fursa Tours, our story begins with a deep love for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)—a region that is as diverse as it is rich in history, culture, and beauty. Our founder, Ninwa, is driven by a profound passion for her roots and a mission to share the authentic stories of the MENA region with the world. Born to Syrian parents, Ninwa’s connection to the MENA region has always been personal. Her upbringing was steeped in pride for her heritage, and her lifelong travels across the region have only deepened her understanding and appreciation of its landscapes, cultures, and people.

Ninwa’s journey in the travel industry began through MENA-focused sales and product development with a global tour operator, where she quickly developed a specialization in designing exceptional, tailor-made journeys for discerning travelers. This foundation later led to a successful transition into tourism consulting, where she had the privilege of advising a diverse range of clients, including national governments, tourism boards, ministries, and private investors. This experience reinforced her deep understanding of the region’s unique offerings and the value of showcasing it in an authentic, meaningful way.

Along the way, Ninwa recognized a gap in the market: many travel companies, though well-versed in crafting experiences for regions like Europe, Asia, and the Americas, lacked true expertise in the MENA region. As a result, their itineraries often skimmed the surface, failing to capture the region’s rich depth and complexity due to language barriers and a lack of cultural understanding. Drawing on her deep, firsthand knowledge of the MENA region, Ninwa saw an opportunity to create Fursa Tours—an advisory that would provide truly immersive, authentic experiences, designed by someone who knows the region inside and out, and can bring its true essence to life for travelers.
